ACADIA ALERT - Campus Closed - Monday January 26, 2026

Acadia University will be closed on Monday January 26, 2026 due to expected weather conditions.

All classes are cancelled for the day. Employees and students are not expected to come to campus and only employees deemed essential are required to report to work. Non-essential employees are not expected to work during the closure. Residence buildings will be accessible, and Wheelock Dining Hall will be open but at reduced hours.

The ACADIA CENTRE FOR MATHEMATICAL MODELING AND COMPUTATION (ACMMaC) brought together researchers from a wide variety of disciplines (mathematics, statistics, computer science, physics, biology, chemistry, environmental science, etc.) with interests in mathematical modeling, both deterministic and stochastic, and the application of computing technology to such problems.

The centre was active from 2004 - 2018. It provided human and computing support resources to enhance the computational research capabilities for interested faculty at Acadia. Our sponsors included:
